 5-Spot Drill ®

  This drill is designed to simulate and develop basic offensive skills
   handling the basketball while facing the basket. It focuses on using the
  *Triple Threat Position, and the whole basketball court, dribbling the
   basketball with the left and right hands, how to change direction with
   the ball, the one count and the two count stop and the shot. This is a
   self-testing drill, both mothers and fathers will be recruited as scorers,
   coaches, and referees.

       *Triple Threat Position: starts on the balls of the feet, with the feet at  
       shoulder  width apart, knees flexed, head forward with shoulders and
       back slightly leaning  forward* (see diagram below).

Here the 5-spot drill is being demonstrated and practiced with Steve Burtt (And 1)
and one basketball coach. All moves start from the half court line.
